The Westchester / Mid-Hudson AIA Chapter’s Celebration of Architecture Design Awards Gala will be taking place on November 2 at the Bard College Fisher Center for the Performing Arts designed by Frank Gehry. This year’s expanded program will include a behind-the-scenes tour of this innovative facility (1 CEU credit) and a panel discussion / question and answer session with representatives from Bard College and Gehry’s office. A cocktail hour will then take place in the dynamic lobby space, followed by a short musical program in the main concert hall demonstrating the hall’s spectacular acoustics. The Chapter Awards program and presentation will cap off the evening, also in the main concert hall.
Submissions for the Awards Program were received by the committee in mid-September, with the jury review following at the New York Chapter’s Center for Architecture.
